Developing my visual identity

Session:

Your Visual Identity
In groups, discuss (get your group to write down):

The themes of your work

- Witchcraft, storytelling, fantasy, feminism,

The colour palettes you’re drawn to

- Pinks, purples, gold, white,

A description of the work to someone who can’t see it, what does it look like?

- Cute, witchy, colourful and "disney-esque-but-more-grownup"

Discuss and agree with the group, How you want people to feel when viewing the work?

I want people to feel happy and intrigued. I want them to see the characters and be curious about magic and other worlds.  I also want them to feel the power of femininity and that it's not something we should be ashamed of, but rather celebrate it as a type of strength.

What do other people suggest the work is about ?

Feminine, soft, restrictive colour palettes, creative expression (you do it for fun)

What words did you choose for your values? What colour / flavours do they have?

Feminine, kindness, pink, warm, intriguing, fantasy.

As I already have an established brand / identity, I'll be using this break down to see how I can refine and improve on it. I'd like to pull together a new brand book that I will use going forward.
