Envelope Pitch

During our trip to Salford, we were given the task of identifying an opportunity we could pitch a solution for on the back of an envelope. Whilst I was walking around the museum, I found myself filling my foldy zine sketchbook with sketches of the people in paintings, statues and questions about who they were.

My pitch ended up being a series of comics about people shown in the museum. I think this could be really informative for a younger audience and a fun opportunity to add in a bit of humor. I would find this really useful to digest information, as I am often quite overwhelmed being in these kind of spaces so I often avoid them.

I think my approach to my practice has changed recently, as I'm starting to identify opportunities for sequential work more and more. I could apply this envelope pitch to numerous spaces - I think it would be really interesting to design a comic from my research into witches..
