"A contribution of ‘new knowledge’ that is of value to the disciplinary field
is often a stipulation of professional Research practices.
Whilst this may seem like a tall order, an offering of ‘new knowledge’ need not be such a daunting proposition.
It might simply refer to a way of working not previously tried before,
or address subject matter from a unique perspective”

From what I gathered in this session, having a "hustle" isn't just about maintaining a practice and networking, but also about identifying opportunities wherever possible.. So this could happen through networking, but the important part is considering what skills you can bring to the table, and putting it "out there". I thought it was important to remember that nobody's "hustle" looks the same as somebody else's.
For my practice right now, my hustle is focused on finding opportunities to get my graphic novel in front of an audience. This will be done through Patreon and hopefully some art markets/conventions throughout the year. At this moment in time, I'm unsure whether I'm ready to speak to publishers about it, but once I have a larger body of work, I may reconsider this.
