Writing!

 

As I've been reading about writing, and researching all the different ways in which writing can be a great tool for exploration, I thought it was about time that I started to actually write the novel I intend to produce.

As I am an illustrator by trade and I know nothing technical about writing, I'm trying to use my intuition in these early stages. I have chosen not to write this in the first person, as I felt it would be easier to illustrate scenes that were not entirely based on one characters point of view. This will allow me to design the book more objectively, and include snippets that the main character may not have "seen".

As the first scene is set in a cafe, it feels appropriate to start exploring what that cafe looks like next.
