More Coffee Shop Drawing

As I found my studies in a coffee shop so useful today, I decided to do it once again in a different location and see if it sparked any more inspiration. This difference this time was that I didn't have any earphones, so I was tried to listen to snippets of conversations around me - I thought it would help me to visualise the cafe scenes better in my writing. I did struggle with this initially, as I felt somewhat overwhelmed by all the noise (sensory issues I sometimes experience) and it took a little for me to tune some of it out - writing down my thoughts helped with this process.

It felt hard to convey in my drawing, but this cafe felt very crammed. This is something I had never noticed before, but will inform my drawings going forward.
I quite enjoyed jotting down snippets of conversations - out of context phrases etc. I thought some of the topics I overheard were funny because they seemed wildly inappropriate to be discussed as such volumes, surrounded by so many people. There seemed to be a sort of false perception of privacy at each table... people forgetting that they could be overheard by a stranger less than a meter away from them.
